You’ll reconsider one of the most important pieces of information design in communication history, the humble timetable. What’s so important about it? It distills an enormous amount of data into an elegant structure that provides multiple ways for users to interact meaningfully with the information. There are two parts to this assignment. In the first, you’ll redesign PyeongChang’s 2018 olympic competition schedule for print using InDesign’s table feature. Then, you’ll adapt your design for use in a mobile app. Underpinning both parts of the project will be user experience research and testing.
