This design intervention had the lesson of “nudging” the audience. I had this huge problem of getting hit in the face by backpacks and elbows due to the rush hours.To solve this problem, this concern needs to be brought to light and be very apparent. Picking out the right moment which was when the commuter decides to make their move on or off the train, they’ll be greeted with some sort of intervention that gives them a second thought. This second thought will persuade them as much as possible to put their bags down between their feet, to not let their personal belongings take up another seat, or to create room for people to get off or get on the train. That being said, it really does become the main significance to this project, was to have commuters to be more considerate towards others. Since everyone is going through these hardships in the morning, why not make it more enjoyable?
